Position Purpose
The purpose of the apprenticeship is to prepare learners to operate independently and productively, ultimately becoming competent qualified artisans in their respective trades.
Position Outputs
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, learners will be able to:
- Plan and prepare work sites, equipment, tools, consumables, and materials for trade-related activities and operations.
- Use hand, power, and measuring tools effectively.
- Install, assemble, fit, connect, and maintain electrical equipment and control systems.
- Test, inspect, commission, and repair electrical equipment, control systems, installations, and assemblies.
