SASSA Status Check Appeal

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has been serving people by playing the role of a national agency since 2005. The aim is to serve deserving people facing hardships, but you have to apply for its grants program. Commonly, Sassa applications get rejected, and Sassa status check appeals are the hope for many.

Don’t worry if you get rejected by the SASSA authorities because you still have the right to appeal and another chance to get a grant. This guide will address the complete procedure for the Sassa status check appeal, its considerations, and everything important. Let’s explore till the end!

Time To Submit SASSA Appeal

In how many days can you submit a Sassa appeal? The organization provides comprehensive time to appeal for your rejected grant application. Moreover, all the appeal applications are given to the Department of Social Development Independent Tribunal for Social Assistance Appeals (ITSAA). Don’t worry; the procedure is a breeze and is further explained in this article.

For example, you must be an African permanent resident of South Africa and be registered as a refugee (age between 18-60 years). 8. All my appeals for the most of 2yrs has not been attended to , still shows pending and some declined with no reason what-so-ever…
All was declined for “alternate income” when there is absolutley no income. I have appealed upon appeals even sent emails starting from the bottom, right through to top management…. all my emails were ignored by most, just this girl in there call centre, Paula Batista keep sending me a random email basically stating that I need to just wait for the process to unfold… No Explanation, No Reason, No Escalation… Nothing!!! But really now, for more than 2yrs no….???
Can they be so incompetent where there staff, from the call centre all the way up to Heads of Departments and the Big so called bosses, just disrespect the Citizens of this Country and line there Pockets and to hell with the rest…… God Save Our Country

Contacting the official SASSA call centre at 0800 60 10 11 for escalation.

Visiting your nearest SASSA office with supporting documents to prove you have no alternative income.
